Nabbe Brothers in World War II

Non-Fiction, by Robert William Nabbe with Melissa Nabbe Matusevich

This book is an account of two very different World War II experiences by brothers, Richard Frederick Nabbe and Robert William Nabbe.  Richard was on the front line.  He fought on D-Day and The Battle of the Bulge. His story is relayed by letters to his brother, Robert, who kept each one.  Robert was a chauffeur of generals and other officers in the Washington, DC, area.  While the war is going on Robert marries and has a daughter.  Richard, on the other hand, is experiencing other countries, other languages, the Germans up close and personal, and the preferred liquor and beer of each nation.
