* Nellie Gray Canterbury releases three books

We are pleased to announce three books by Nellie Gray Canterbury.  The first is a book of poetry entitled Rhymes and Reflections.  These poems cover a 40-year span of writing poetry to reflect on her good and bad life experiences.  Her novel, The Visit, is autobiographical in nature with two sisters sharing their parents' courtship, early marriage, and having children.  The third book is a children's book, A Dog Tale As Told by "Luey" the Beagle. This colorful book tells the tale of Luey's adventures as he is taken in by various families. But what he wants is to return to his people parents.  Does he make it?  It is illustrated by Canterbury's niece, Patricia Moye Gwinn.

* Kate Garland releases Through A Haiku Lens

We are pleased to announce Kate Garland's second book with Pocahontas Press entitled Through a Haiku Lens. Kate has been writing Haiku for many years reflecting on her life experiences as well as the more traditional topics of nature, seasons, time and place in the present moment. The left page of each set of Haiku is left blank for the reader to write a poem or draw a picture or otherwise personalize feelings at the time of reading.

* Joyce Raymor Schmeer releases I did it! I did it! I did it!

We are pleased to announce Joyce Raymor Schmeer's autobiography entitle, I did it! I did it! I did it! This book recounts Schmeer's experiences as an Air Force wife living in a variety of places as her husband moved from base to base.  The book is humorous and lively reflecting Schmeer's energetic attitude towards life.

* Gregg and Abraham release "Keepers of the Tradition"

A collaboration between portrait artist Leslie Roberts Gregg and author Michael Abraham, this lavishly illustrated and printed book showcases a dozen subjects, Appalachians who are maintaining the traditions of their ancestors.
