The year is 2021 - or is it? When Meg Kites buys a house in a rural Virginia community nestled in the Blue Ridge, she inherits a dark mystery about the Hill clan brewing for a hundred years. It begins when she sees a strange apparition on a country road at dawn, a man in top hat and black waistcoat who disappears before her eyes.
SKYFALL is a historical mystery/Appalachian ghost story. The past bleeds into the present, with Meg's growing fascination with the ghost of Caleb Hill, a 19th-century magician who was himself obsessed with the "etheric realm" and his beautiful wife Lucy. With a good deal of humor, the story alternates between Meg's daily duties as Welfare Director that begin to seem surreal and the mysteries of the Hill clan. Did Caleb's wife Lucy return to Ireland, as some believe, or did she end her own life, a secret hidden from her bereaved husband? What happened to Caleb, and why was an empty coffin buried in the town cemetery?
SKYFALL is the story of a love strong enough to endure death and betrayal. In her quest to reunite the spirits of Lucy and Caleb, Meg learns not only to believe in the redemption of love, but finds that she too, can open her heart to a last romance.

Obituary
by Jamie L. Reeves
"In many ways, this book is a goodbye letter. A goodbye to my older sister. A goodbye to my childhood. A goodbye to an innocence I'll never know again. In other ways, it's an acceptance letter. I'm accepting my grief. I'm accepting adulthood. I'm accepting that love and hope are everywhere: in my family, my past, my present, my future, and myself. I have poured my heart into each poem in this book. I started this collection when I was 18, and at 21 I'm letting it go. I hope readers will find comfort in themselves and their grief through the words I have written.”

It’s the 1950s. Picture Blackshale, Tennessee, with its home fires, small town ways and postwar innocence - the perfect place for a girl to grow up. From her earliest days, an artistic spark smolders in Anna Grace Tollett, and when the mountain turns dark and unnerving, creativity is all she has to weather hard times. In Smoke from Small Fires, happily off-tilt characters, bizarre events and a gamut of emotions stack up like a collage layered thick with compelling details.

"Poetry is sometimes our whisper and sometimes our shout when it awakens our common humanity. Are you awake? What are your thoughts; what are your feelings that beckon to be expressed," Russell Gregory said in this collection of his poetic works. Delving into life, love, grief, and the end of earth's experience, Gregory traverses the scope of emotions lying within all human beings and urges readers to reach into their own depths of existence to find what lies beneath the surface.
About the Author

Much of his life has been spent in Southwest Virginia where he feels most at home.
